Esperanza will not be able to pay us, so we will have to raise all our support. The support provided by you helps the ministry of Esperanza reach those who would benefit regardless of fiscal resources. We are planning on being up there for a total of 10 months and figure we need $1500 a month (for rent, food, and travel). We would love to have you consider financially supporting us monthly (one-time gifts are welcome too!).
On top of that, we will be in desperate need of prayer and encouragement. We promise we are not just saying that to make the request for money seem less brash. The stories we will have the honor of engaging have huge potential to traumatize us as well. We are in need of protection and prayer.
